It is simply a quote from a song sung by Jimmy Osmond which I often sang to my late g/f and now did again, here. I used to wear my hair quite long, hence the "..longhaired Lover from Liverpool..." bit. On one trip to Europe we managed to spend some special time in Liverpool indeed heheh!
